Dear President Obama…
First off, woohoo! Congrats, and I’m sorry that the Chief Justice screwed up the oath (he’s still miffed you didn’t vote for him). I voted for you! Well, to be honest, I voted for you in the general but Hillary in the primary. I feel I need to be honest with you because I expect you to be honest with me.
I was perusing the new White House website, and noticed something that you should be made aware of. Under your Civil Rights Agenda you have laid out a section specifically dedicated to equality for the LGBT. You rock! Except for that whole marriage thing, but I’m convinced you’ll come to the realization that civil unions are “separate but equal” with a new paint job… and we all know how well that turned out.
But I digress. I noticed a mistake. Not a disagreement on politics or issues, but an actual error. The two (and may I say – brilliant) statements on AIDS Prevention and Care were mistakenly listed under Civil Rights and not under Health Care. You see, AIDS is not a gay disease (we figured that out over twenty years ago). You should talk to your webmaster and get that fixed right away, thanks!
